Haliburton and Friends

Immersed in creativity for a full week at the Haliburton School for the Arts was a fantastic experience once again this year.  John took a travel photography course (yes, he learned some new techniques) and Gail took acrylic painting.  The courses were great, but the atmosphere of the college and the magnificant surroundings at the cottage where we stayed made the whole week wonderful and inspiring.

John "shooting"

One day John had to be at class at 6 AM for an early morning shoot!

After our week at Haliburton, we stopped in to visit our "old" friends Carol and Hermen, who now live in a beautiful resort park near Peterborough.  John and Hermen went on several photo shoots while we were there, and we all had a trip down the Otonabee River with the pontoon boat.  It was great fun, and a chance for more awesome pictures.

We are thankful for such great times with good friends who really know how to provide the best in hospitality!
